SPLAY Farewell Words

It's been a while since I found this entry in SPLAY's my space page, so I thought that it would be nice to translate this as well (though it doesn't say anything about the dissolution cause, it's still nice to know).

SPLAYから応援してくれているみなさんへお知らせ
スプレイは今年10周年を迎えました。
いろんな人に出会い、いろんな人と別れ、励まされながら駆け抜けた10年間でした。
少し振り返っただけでも支えてくれた人たちの笑顔で胸がいっぱいになります。
次の10年をどういう10年にしようかと4人で話し合った結果、ぼくらは4人それぞれの扉を開くことに決めました。
いつ終わるともしれない、これからも続く毎日を、その一瞬一瞬を精一杯楽しんで生きるための決断です。
悲しまないでください。
たくさんのライブができたこと、たくさんの作品が残せたことを誇りに思っています。
今まで一緒に歌ってくれたみんな、本当にありがとう。
みんなから貰った笑顔は一生の宝物です。

4人はこれからも仲間に変わりはないので、ひょっとしたらひょんな場所で、またスプレイは音楽を奏でるかもしれません。
そのとき偶然出会えたら「久しぶり」と声をかけてやってください。
ありがとうございました。

Notice to all of you who have been supporting SPLAY

This year is the 10th anniversary of SPLAY.
We had lots of encounters as well as farewells, and while going through this ten years we received encouragement from many people.
By looking back just a little and seeing the smile of the people who supported us fills us up inside.
How we would like the next 10 years to be like was what we talked about when the four of us met, and the result is, that the four of us want to keep open every and each door for us.
Even if when it may end, even from now on, we'll live fully enjoying every instant of the everyday that awaits, that's why we made this decision.
Please, don't be sad.
The fact that we had many live concerts and opus left is our pride.
So, our deepest gratitude to everyone who came all this way singing along with us.
Your smiles are a one life time treasure.

Since the fact that the four of us will remain friends even from now on, there's always a chance that we unexpectedly start to make music as SPLAY once again.
So if we casually met in that situation please greet us with a "hey, it's been a while!".
